
| Dean Osejo Vocalist/Harp : is a bluesman from life experience.He started out as many blues greats singing gospel music with his family church.Then as a young man he was exposed to rythym and blues on am and later fm radio.He also was a fan of many of the 60's and seventies rock bands that were influenced by the blues pioneers that included Wet willie, Allman brothers, and Eric Clapton.He became a true blues man and lover of the music while listening to a radio show that aired on Monday called "blue Monday".He went through some very hard times because of his lifestyle at the time as a young man.He worked hard to increase his musical talent after he moved to Nashville Tn. to pursue his day job as a nurse.It was there that he met one of his blues/singing influences,Jimmie Hall while working with the singer"s wife.He had just started practicing to play the "blues harp" and was able to get some help from him.After three years of diligent practice he started playing at the board walk cafe with many of the local musicians.In 1995 He returned to Johnson city to form his first blues band " the Chi town Express band".he played the local scene for several years.In 1998 he took a job as a traveling nurse and played with many blues musicians in St.Louis and was mentored in Harmonica by Arthur Williams and Keith Doder both whom had played with Frank Frost and Jimmie Rodgers respectively.At that time He also played as the Harp player for the Inner City Blues band and opened up for such acts as Clarence Carter in the chitlin circuit clubs there.He also had the privilege to share the stage with many of the blues men that had played with the Late great Albert King.He then moved to Maine and Formed a successful party band Called the Mason Dixon Revival,which gigged regularly for five years from 2002 till 2007.Now he is back in his native East Tennessee with some of his seasoned musical acquaintances playing there style of party blues that will get the folks up and Dancing no matter how they feel!
